PROFILE STORY
First year head coach Mitchell Armour led the boys basketball team to the final-four game in the Open Division and remained undefeated at home, after only being hired less than a year ago at Desert Mountain.
Committed to developing the boys basketball program, Athletic Director Stephen Cervantez believed the team needed a culture change for the 2022-23 season.
GAME STORY
A win in the den, 76-60. The Wolves claimed their territory after a battle against the Jackrabbits.
The intensity on the court filled the gymnasium with a lot of emotion, edging on the already rowdy crowd. Trailing 11-6 in the first few minutes, the Wolves were reminded who was dominant after taking a timeout.
FEATURE STORY
With basketball in the bloodline, freshmen guards Kaden and Kalek House have a crazy work ethic that seems to be second nature to them.
Influenced by their father, Eddie House, and their uncle, Mike Bibby, the twins agree that they grew into the sport naturally. They started their career at the YMCA Little League, and now they are headed into the fourth round of the Open Division.
